@pearlshims112 and @cgrossmann81 I’ve sent you each a DM with some steps for us to help further!
Hi Nick and Team, I accidentally lost my 2FA from Google Authenticator while I was mindlessly resetting it around last year. Now, I got locked out of this part, and I cannot access my Local WP account. I need your help to access my account as soon as possible. Attached is the screenshot of the 2FA. Thank you.

Hello,
I also have an account that I can no longer log into because I lost my two-factor authentication code.
I would appreciate your support in helping me recover it.

I am also having this issue — set up a Local Account with Google auth, being asked for 2fa I never set up. Cannot login and zero recourse on the login page.

I am having issues with 2FA. My account is relatively new but I don’t remember setting up 2FA.

What issue or error are you experiencing?
Hi everyone,
I’m having trouble accessing my LocalWP account because of 2FA.
I recently factory reset my phone and was using Microsoft Authenticator before the reset. Unfortunately, after setting up my phone again, the authenticator entries were not restored, and I no longer have access to the 2FA code for my LocalWP account.
I still know my account email and password, but I’m unable to log in because the 2FA code is required,
Could a moderator or support team member please advise on how I to reset 2FA
Thank you for any help.

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
