Issue Summary

Greetings! I’m getting this error every time i try to open my website within the Local application.

TypeError: Cannot read property ‘version’ of undefined

Troubleshooting Questions

  • The error is only happening on one of my websites in Local.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? Yes, i can create a new site.

Replication

I was making updates to my website and was checking the plugin options on the Local client, and noticed that i wasn’t able to open my website anymore and now the error is preventing me from opening my website again.

I’ve seen another similar post saying to export the site and re-import, however, the Export feature is grayed out for me.
Is there another way to export?

  • Which version of Local is being used? Local Version 5.9.7+5156

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • Ubuntu 64bit version 20.10
