Unable to find node-windows.exe when updating hosts

I’ve had this problem for 4 days and I still can not solve it when I click FIX IT the error is not corretc and it returns me two warning boxes. As seen in the images below!

Capturar%2002

and after I click OK:

Capturar%2003

Image of my hosts file:

I checked the log of Local file and noticed that: Could not update hosts.

As seen in the image below:

log%2001

So I added the input manually, but I don’t know if this is correct

As seen in the image below:

Entrada%20no%20Host

If necessary here is the VM name in VirtualBox!

As seen in the image below:

VM%20Virtual%20Box

This is my log file in case this would be helpful:
local-by-flywheel.log (60.6 KB)

Before anyone help me I want to inform that I already tried this:

1: So I added the input manually in my hosts file, but I don’t know if I did correct

2: I have no VPN installed on my PC

3: I use Kaspersky, but I deactivated it and the problem persisted

4: I canceled the selection of “read only” from my host file l confirmed of admin rights, but the problem has not been solved

5: I added the folder from the hosts file to the Kasperky exclusion zone
As seen in the picture below
KPS%20Exclus%C3%A3o

6: I added the folder from the hosts file to the Windows Defender exclusion zone
As seen in the picture below
Windows%20Defender%20Exclus%C3%A3o

7: I uninstalled VirtualBox and Local 2.2.4 then I cleaned the registry with CCleaner and erased all the remaining folders of the installation of VirtualBox and Local 2.2.4 I rebooted the computer and set everything up again this time I installed Local 2.1.1 even so l came across the same problem.

8: I repeated step 7 and installed Local 2.2.4 again and the problem continues

I tried other tips I found here in the forum on this subject also mainly the tips of Clay that is very active here, but I have not yet solved this problem.

I’m using Windows 10 64 bit

Thanks in advance! to anyone who can give me a solution to this problem.

Denis,

Thanks for all of the details and screenshots, it’s very helpful!

It looks like the path Local is using for node-windows.exe isn’t correct.

If you browse to %LocalAppData%\Programs\local-by-flywheel\resources\extraResources\node do you see node-windows.exe?

Hello Clay! Thanks for the answer

Going to this path you informed I see this

As seen in the image below
