Unable to provision site. Error: Command failed

Issue Summary

_ Uh-oh! Unable to provision site error, when creating a new site._

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
Just when creating new sites, all other sites installed previously are working fine.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?
No, I can’t create new sites.

Replication

  1. Create a Site

  2. Follow all steps and fill the information

  3. When prompted for a password, fill in everything.

  4. Then an error appears:

Error: Error: Command failed: /Applications/Local.app/Contents/Resources/extraResources/lightning-services/mysql-8.0.16+5/bin/darwin/bin/mysqladmin --password= ping
mysqladmin: [Warning] Using a password on the command line interface can be insecure.
amysqladmin: connect to server at ‘localhost’ failed
error: ‘Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/Users/elie/Library/Application Support/Local/run/-594M1VgS/mysql/mysqld.sock’ (2)’
Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: ‘/Users/elie/Library/Application Support/Local/run/-594M1VgS/mysql/mysqld.sock’ exists!
