Unable to use flywheel since update on windows 10

Updated a week ago, followed most steps in forums to fix, stuck in checksum then I have an error. My VB is up to date as I use it for other functions. I’m to the point of uninstalling permanently and just going back to using ampps or other. I like this software but this issue seems to be very prevalent and I’d like a solution that doesn’t require many multiple steps. I’m on Windows 10, fully up to date, VB is latest version, have installed and uninstalled local multiple times and have done the forced reset of VB. A solution would be much appreciated. thank you for your time and help.

Hi @LloydM,

Can you describe the issue you’re running into or provide a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

Sorry for the trouble with Local!

Thanks for the screenshot!

I would try the following:

Note: These instructions assume you’re running VirtualBox 6.0+ based off what you said earlier about keeping VirtualBox up-to-date.

  1. Open VirtualBox
  2. Go to File » Host Network Manager
  3. Remove all host networks such as vboxnet0, vboxnet1, etc. Note, these will be recreated automatically.
  4. Restart your PC
  5. Open Local

Thank you for the quick response. I’ll be trying that in the next half hour or so. (in the middle of a project). Thank you for your help Clay. I love using flywheel its much easier than setting up an environment. I hope that eventually all the dependencies will sync up appropriately. Again thank you for the assistance and have a great day. Once I do the restart I’ll let you know how it goes but consider the issue closed paperwork wise.

issue is fixed. Thanks again for your help
