Updating Local WP doesn't work

What issue or error are you experiencing?

When I open the app, popup windows that’s supposed to let me update just hangs there blank.

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Just opening the app, there’s no way for me to update it. This is what I get:

  • Operating System (OS) and OS version: Macos Sequoia 15.7.4

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Sorry that you ran into this, @nikolamne. This was a known issue with 9.2.6.

Hey @nickc, thanks for your reply. Do I just install the last file and run the installer? If so am I at risk of losing data with that approach?

Yes, just install the latest version. The installer will not touch your Local Sites directory, only the app files.
