I easily created a local version of my live site using duplicator by dragging the exported zip into local.
But now the live site has a lot of new changes now that I need to update in my local version. How do I most easily pull down the latest version into my local copy without creating an all new local copy?
Hi there! One way to do this would be to use the Connect to Flywheel feature within Flywheel if your live site is hosted on Flywheel. It will allow you to easily push and pull sites between your live sites and your local sites. More info on that here: https://local.getflywheel.com/connect-to-flywheel/
However if your live site isn’t hosted on Flywheel you can use these plugins to migrate your site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/ and https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/.
