This is using Windows 11.
What are the entries Local wants to write to the /etc/hosts file?
I able to edit/modify the /etc/hosts file manually, but am not sure what to add to make Local work with my site(s).
Here my current hosts file content:
::1 mysitename.local
127.0.0.1 mysitename.local
I tried changing the permissions on the C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file to allow Local to write to the file - no luck. I also disabled my Virus & Threat protection. No luck. Local is still unable to write to the hosts file.

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
