WP Local simply will not install properly in my PC

We have a Windows Troubleshooting guide below that goes over some common items worth checking. For example, ensure that Local is running as an administrator, that there are no security blockers, and that Local has access to update the Hosts file.

Thanks that looks very helpfull. Will try it out very soon. When it comes to security recommendations the guide suggests not to tick off public networks - what about VPN s?

Sometimes the network you’re on, or the VPN you’re using, can contribute to conflicts such as with speeds or additional firewall security. There isn’t a strict rule of you have to use XYZ type of connection setup, but it’s worth noting just in case you have to troubleshoot an issue!
