When pushing site live, core nav styles and scripts arent included

This is occurring whether pushing to WP Engine or Flywheel hosting. And I get the same issue when switching to a default theme like twenty-twenty-two. I’ve compared the sources between my local site and the staging site - it looks like the core css/js files for navigation aren’t being loaded.

Heres an example of what the menu looks like when pushed to staging.

And what it should look like

Here the scripts are loading locally

And in staging they’re gone

Hi @shelaine

Did this issue start recently after an update? Or was this your first attempt using Local?

Are you sites using WordPress 6.3? I wonder if this might be related to a known bug.

Yes WP Version 6.3.1 and this has started occurring in the past month. I’ve often had to revert back to an earlier version of Local due to other problems pushing live.

Check out this thread over here. There are a couple of listed workarounds you could try if this is indeed part of the same bug:

I’m still facing this issue when I browse the site locally from another pc, e.g. from the development PC it I was using localhost in the URL for the local PC I was using 192.168.1.188 the css styles wasn’t loading.

I did try all of those fixes, btw I’m on 6.4.1

Sorry my bad it was solved after updating both Wordpress Address URL and Site Address URL to the intended IP address for local usage.
