Wordpress could not establish a secure connection to wordpress.org error message after updating theme

Hi there,![Screen Shot 2021-07-01 at 14.06.05|621x500]

After updating the Divi them under the Wordpress updates menu I get an error message :

warning: an unexpected error occurred. something may be wrong with wordpress.org or this server’s configuration. if you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (wordpress could not establish a secure connection to wordpress.org. please contact your server administrator.) in /users/robertkollar/local sites/robertkollar/app/public/wp-includes/update.php on line 410

I under the error message it shows:

All updates have been completed.

Im confused why I get this error message, because previously I have updated my Wordpress themes and plugins many times without any issues.

Also regardless of the error message it seems the theme was updated because when I checked on the updates menu again, it showed that everything was on the latest update.

I tried deleting the site from local and after importing it again from the latest backup, and when I tried to update the same error message happens.

I deleted the site from local and after imported it again from the latest backup and changed the PHP version to 7.4.1 and after when I tried to update I received the same error message.

Then I deleted the site again and imported it again from the latest backup and this time changed the
PHP version to 7.4.1 and web server to Apache. This time when I updated the theme it updated without any error message.

I don’t understand why I keep getting the error message when using nginx server, and not when using Apache.

Also is it safe to change servers when in the middle of building a website, the site is 80% complete, and so far the server I have been using was nginx. If I change now will it have a negative effect on my website in the future?

Could the reason I am getting this error message when updating is that I updated to the newest version of local just recently.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Since writing this message I have tried to update the theme multiple times and twice I was able to update without getting the error message. After this I deleted my site and re-imported previously backed up versions and tried to update the theme in those, and I got the error message as well.
Just now I tried to update the theme again using Apache server setting and got the error message. So it seems it does not matter what PHP and server settings I choose in local; the theme updates and I get the error message, and sometimes I don’t which is rare.
I also noticed I get an error message when I click on the settings menu in Wordpress

I can’t find any solutiuon to this, I never got these unexpected error messages before. It only started from today.
