Error occurs when trying to upgrade wordpress
Hi everyone!
I am a total beginner and feeling lost!
I am using windows 10 pro and i just installed local version 5.9.8+5191. After adding a few sites i am having trouble upgrading any of them to the latest version of wordpress.
When I press ‘‘update to 5.6’’ in the local dashboard, after a minute i receive a message saying’’ Uh-oh! We ran into an issue when trying to update WordPress’'.
When i try and update from within my wordpress site itself i receive this message from wordpress
‘‘Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to WordPress.org. Please contact your server administrator.) in C:\Users\user\Local Sites\practice-site-2\app\public\wp-admin\includes\update.php on line 137-’’
