1-2 min load time for pages

Issue Summary

When loading a page or reloading a page, it take 1-2 min to load.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
    Just one particular site.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?
    Yes.

Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them!
I’m guessing that there is something particular about this site that is causing the issue since it’s only happening to that one. But, I still need to develop/maintain that site! :slight_smile:

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    v6.0.0+5444

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • macOS BigSur 11.4

  • Attach the Local Log.

I figured it out! For anyone with the same problem, try turning of WordFence if you have it running. Or perhaps any other security plugin. That’s what killed my site locally. So happy this is working again. That was soooooo painful.

Glad you found it! In general, a webpage should never take 1-2 minutes to load… ESPECIALLY on your local machine.
