I’m using Windows (Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems) and attempting to develop three WordPress websites locally. I’m running updated local: Version 6.7.0+6354
Here is the error message: 502 Bad Gateway nginx/1.16.0
First I had it happen on a new site - was never able to access
Checked a somewhat older site, found the same issue and couldn’t access.
Oldest install worked for several weeks after the above failures, but now has same error as of today.
Attempted to create new site today - receive 404 Error - Site Not Found
I’ve tried working through PHP versions. No luck.
I’ve put a lot of work into the oldest version, and it would be a significant loss to be unabel to retrieve it.
Do you have any antivirus, security, or firewall applications that could be blocking Local? This is common for Windows users and could be creating a blocker.
More details about troubleshooting this here: Router Mode
Are you running other developer applications simultaneously? That could also cause similar issues. Apps like MAMP, XAMPP, or Docker for example.
I rolled back to version 6.6.0 this morning, and I got two of my three sites back. The one that didn’t restore has a different sort of error message. I’m going to update to the second most recent version and see what happens.
