502 on M1 Mac Monterey

502 on all sites after some time.

Running on Mac M1, Can create new instances and they run just fine. Come back to them after some time and they will not start. 502.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Plenty of discussions about 502 on this site, tried all the suggestions and cannot get it to work. Replicated this on a second machine, so I presume it is some sort of M1 issue.

  • Anyone got any suggestions other than the commonly mentioned ones for 502

Replication

Easy. Create a site. Stop it, come back to it after a period of time and try and start it again.

System Details

  • Latest version of local 6.4.2

  • Latest Mac OS Monterey 12.5 on M1 Ultra.

  • Attach the Local Log. See this Help Doc for instructions on how to do so:

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

FWIW, I’m running Local 6.4.2 on M1 MacBook Air and current updates to Monterey.

It all works fine for me.

Thanks for the info. That’s crazy to me as I have done literally nothing special at all other than install and use the app as I have on other Macs. Strange.

Anyone else experiencing my troubles?
