All sites gone after update to 5.9.6

Issue Summary

I’ve just updated Local to 5.9.6 on my Mac. After opening Local all my sites are gone in the overview.

Looking into the Console I see these error’s:

WebSocket connection to ‘ws://127.0.0.1:4000/graphql’ failed: WebSocket is closed before the connection is established.

DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for file:///Applications/Local.app/Contents/Resources/app.asar/node_modules/@getflywheel/local-addon-broken-link-checker/lib/renderer.js.map:

    Not tested.

Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them!

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    5.9.6

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • macOS High Sierra 10.13.6
  • Attach the Local Log. See this Community Forum post for instructions on how to do so:

I had the same thing happen to me but on Window 10 Home 2004. I upgraded to 5.9.8 and all my sites vanished (10+). The weird thing is, it left behind folders for 3 of the sites and the only thing in there was a single plugin for each but not the same plugin.

This isn’t the first time either, I put off upgrading for ages. Lessons learned I guess, I should have known better and backed EVERYTHING up. Luckily all the sites I have in production so I can grab copies of them. Absolutely ridiculous though. Attaching my log also.
