I cloned the sites and then I could open the site but it did not copy the site in the state it was in! FORTUNATELY I keep “All In One” backups for the sites I work. I was able then to find the backup - in a new sub-directory now?? What!?? and restore the backup file to get back to my previous work.
I like LocalWP but this kind of thing really makes me nervous! I expect a reply and update on this issue if you want me to use LocalWP
Updated to BigSur this morning + the latest version of Local.
Had the same issues - a couple of sites gave a 502, but not all of them.
They mostly didn’t show the wordpress version, or the domain. (three changing dots)
When I looked in the log, there was a problem with nginx and the php.fpm socket connection.
Tried cloning, but got an error.
Tried installing a new site - no problem.
Solution that worked: changed the php version from 7.4.1 to the previous version 7.3.5 and bingo.
Same here. All sites are broken, can’t find Database or anything. Getting a 502 Error. I even rolled back to 5.9.0 and still getting 502. I just updated to Big Sur last night, probably related to the OS update. Here’s what’s broken on both sites:
I am confused why the answers about PHP and sockets when my issue was about the “Site Domain” and it not being retrieved until the site was started issue.
