I’d love to see a feature that allows users to set certain sites to automatically start when Local WP is launched. This would save time and streamline the process, especially for those who work on the same sites on a regular basic.
As for my personal workflow, I typically find myself working on the same recent project every time I launch Local WP, so having the option to set a specific site to automatically start would be very convenient.
It’s a small but helpful addition that would enhance the user experience.
I appreciate the Local WP software and the dedicated team behind it; it has been a great and flawless experience by far.
Hi @KCL - Nothing in the works as of yet, but we are always monitoring these feature requests for interest from the community to help in future road map decisions!
I’d like to add my support for this request…
Local can be started at startup by adding the “Local.exe -shortcut” to the windows \startup\ folder…
But then to start the site I work with every day, it is click on the site id, click the “Start site >” link, and wait and wait and wait… for the site to start.
THEN I can open the site in the browser and get to work.
LOVE LOCAL!!!
A startup site parameter with the “Local.exe -shortcut” would be MOST appreciated!!!
Same wish here - just started experimenting / learning with WordPress and think LocalWP is really a great gift for getting WP set up and running!!!
I had some experience with XAMPP on Windows quite a few years back and was really super happy how fast and easy everything was working!
But it would be really, really nice to have the option to get the site running automatically…
I wonder whether there’s a way through the site-shell???
