Bad Gateway 502 Error again

Issue Summary

I have got the BAD GATEWAY error yet again

Troubleshooting Questions

• Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular? ALL SITES

• Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? NO

Cannot create new site - get this error:-

Replication

Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them!

Doing this :- ~/Library/Application Support/Local/lightning-services
Deleting Lightning services makes no difference

System Details

• Which version of Local is being used? LATEST VERSION

• What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?
  Mac High Sierra

It looks like on EVERY site Wordpress is NOT loading???

Hi @benselby It seemed like you were able to resolve this in your other thread by removing lightning-services and downgrading PHP. Is that not working now or were you trying something else?

502 Bad Gateway (nginx/1.16.0) in all sites after update

I am having a degree of success. I have set all of my Flywheel domains to use PHP v8 - this was quite laborious as I had to repeatedly delete “lightning-services” every time - but now all is much better. If I try to use PHP above v8 - WordPress will not load producing a Bad Gateway 502 error. If I add anew site I have to use PHP v7.4.1 - cannot use PHP v8 Hope this helps EDIT! Hi @Nick-B - thanks for the message. I am still on v6.4.3-6116 & have got most sites running perfectly now on PHP v8. Seems to be stable now. But cannot go above PHP v8 else I get Bad Gateway. Will keep you updated!
