All sites fail to connect / Endless load (502 Bad Gateway)

Issue Summary

It all started with one site ending up in an endless loading loop, being unresponsive to the Dev Tools in Chrome and eventually crashing. Another site was straight out white.
However that issue only affected the front end.
The all wordpress endpoints were loading fast and functioning as expected.

After a reinstall of Local WP now all sites are broken as in ending in a 502 Bad Gateway error if I launch them. It also appears that Local can’t access and display the current WP version in the site overview as that ends in an endless loop as well.

Creating a new site however works and those are fine.
Doing that tho of all the projects I currently have would be less than ideal so any kind of help or ideas are very welcomed!

Looking at the log it seems to have something to do with failed GET request to the server.
No idea what to make of it though.

Thanks in advance to everyone who takes their time to read through this!

Hi there @Denys & @desimslaughter - welcome to the Local community!

Can you both provide some more information about the Local and WordPress setups?

Local

  • Web server
  • PHP version
  • Database

WordPress

  • What themes & plugins do you have installed on the site(s)?
  • Have you tried disabling any/all themes & plugins?

Thank you! Let’s start there,
