Big view on word-press is to big!

What could be the reason why the “Go to website” view no longer works properly on a Wordpress site? The contents of the website are all displayed too large and even all things on the left side! I work with local and all of my websites that I have created on local show content that is far too large when I look at the large view in Wordpress. It worked fine the whole time, but it hasn’t worked for a few days. Who can help me?

I tried all different things, like cache, plugin-conflict,different browser,theme-conflict … but nothing helps

Hi @Domi

I think I remember this being an issue with a specific theme in the past.

If you create a new, blank site do you have the same issue or is it just this one site?

Could you provide some more details to help us take a further look?

  • What is your OS?

  • What version of Local are you on?

  • What theme are you using?

  • Please attach a copy of your Local Logs

Keep us posted and we’d be happy to help further!

Hi @Nick,

i have tried it now with a new blank site and it works! I work with the Oxygen-Builder and after I activate the license it works (but not before I activate the license!).

Because I work with Oxygen I think it could not be the theme! I use the theme 224 (but as I said, the theme is normally deactivated with Oxygen)

More Details:
• I work with an iMac , Sonoma 14.4.1.
• I use the actual version of local
local-logs.zip (507.0 KB)

Thank you for helping me

Does your Oxygen have a cache purge option as described here?

Hey Nick,
thank you. I can handle it with the CSS-Cache with Oxygen. The only problem I still have is, if I go again to my website from the “local”-app, then every time I must regenerate the CSS-Cache in Oxygen if I start. But I think with that I can live  Again: Thank You!
Dominik

I’m glad to hear that at least gives you a workaround, @Domi! Something else you could try that would be a little quicker is to use a cache-busting string and see if that helps.

You would just add a string like /?nocache1234 to the end of your URL.
