System Details

Operating System (OS) and OS version: MAC MONTEREY 12.7.4
Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
You can try turning on one-click admin, choosing a user, and clicking “WP Admin”. This usually lets you log in locally without a username and password.
Once logged in like this, you could reset the admin username in your WordPress admin area.
You can use the steps in our guide here to open a Site Shell and reset or create a user using CLI commands:
When you do the password reset email, those emails will stay within Local and get captured in Local’s mail system called Mailpit. So you can try checking that as well if you want to go that route.
We have some steps here in our Live Links documenting for troubleshooting changes not showing that might be useful. I know you’re not using live links, but there might be some common tips here. For example you might have plugin or theme cache in the way, network cache, or mixed content.
