Can´t find ssl in Mac environment in Keychain program

When I try to click on “trusted” button for ssl in on a Mac it doesn´t work. I get a warning and a message to check in keychain for the certificate. But I can´t find the ssl in keychain at all. So I can´t do the neccessary changes.

How to resolve this?

Hey @Johan1

We have some details outlined here have you looked them over?

Yes. We click Trusted, get a red triangle warning, and the ssl- madness.local doesn´t show in the Keychain app. So we are stuck there…

Can you send a screenshot of what you’re seeing on your side when you search Keychain?

I’ve found that sometimes when I’m searching for a cert if I just type in Local it will bring up the local domains but if I try to search the exact name it won’t.

Yes, I´m helping a friend, I will ask her for a schreenshot and get back.

Sounds good thank you @Johan1!

This is the warning. We click the link and follow the steps. But cert isn´t showing up even if we just type local.

Is this on a personal device or something issued by an employer?

What is your friend’s MacOS version?

It´s on a private computer, MacBook Air 2022

Mac OS 13.4

Can you send a screenshot or short video using Loom or something similar of the actual keychain folder and what you’re searching and seeing in there? If you’d rather send this via DM let me know!

Hi @Johan1 and @Nick-B,
A similar SSL certificate issue was resolved in Local v9.1.0+6719 on a Macbook Pro running MacOS Venture 13.6.9 by uninstalling all the Local Addons; specifically removing ‘Instant Reload’ in my case.
With no addons installed and after restarting the Local application, the manual keychain update instructions worked perfectly.
Hope this helps.

Good catch @johnlang86! This might be related to a current bug we have then with Instant Reload that should be resolved soon with our upcoming release. We’ll have a new version of Local and Instant Reload out soon for testing.
