I cannot access my admin portal of the local website. like log ago it was completely fine but I did a backup restoration and the website crashed but I managed to get it back through removing and uploading another backup. But afterwards I could not get back to the backend of the website simply to wp-admin. I tried every way by creating a new user changing the meta data, user data, by the site shell and from the data base too did not work anything.
What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc
I tried every thing that from the previous topics but didn’t work
Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
Is it just this specific site you can’t access? Does it have any plugins installed? If so you might try running wp plugin deactivate --all in CLI to see if that allows you back in.
No it also not helping me even when I check in the CLI for user roles it doesn’t show me any role assigned to administrator. I can’t see what is not working.
To clarify @Pesandu this is just for this specific site you’ve been trying recover? If you spin up a new, blank Local site are you able to access and interact with that okay?
If that works maybe you try reimporting the site manually into a blank Local install. The steps would look like this:
