Cannot install on linux Debian 11 - SOLVED

Issue Summary

cannot install on debian 11 + KDE plasma.

once downloaded the deb package and use dpkg -i to install it, this cannot be installed due this error
/var/lib/dpkg/info/local.postinst: línia 10: update-desktop-database: no s’ha trobat l’ordre

seems that “update-desktop-database” command is missing.

this is my firts time with this tool. so I cannot tell more detaisl.

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    latest ocal-6.1.1-linux.deb

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?
    Debian 11
    Linux debian 5.10.0-8-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.10.46-4 (2021-08-03) x86_64 GNU/Linux

  • Attach the Local Log. See this Community Forum post for instructions on how to do so:
    there is not folder neither log file

solved with:

apt-get install desktop-file-utils
