Can't install localwp not any version works

What issue or error are you experiencing?

Can’t install it on my windows 11, tried other 9.x.x versions it didnt work, tried 7.x.x version still didnt work. tried closing windows defender, firewall etc still it didnt work. i dont know if they somehow still active in the background though

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Says failed to decompress files. Please try running installer again. Error openin ZIP File

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

We have a Windows Troubleshooting guide below that goes over some common items worth checking. For example, ensure you’re running Local as an administrator, that you don’t have any security blockers, and that Local has access to update your Hosts file.
