Can't log in to Local Lightning

Issue Summary

When trying to log in to Local Lightning on Windows, it opens Firefox, I log in, but Local Lightning doesn’t show as logged in.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
    Not relevant.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?
    Everything about WP and localhost works, but I don’t have access to Live Link function.


Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them!

First I open my Local Lightning and click on profile photo. On menu I click ‘Log in Local’.

Then browser opens window below. I click ‘Log in’.

Site shows me that I logged in successfully.

Now if Lightning is already running and I click ‘Open Local to continue’, browser just loads for a second, but nothing happens.
If I close Lightning and press ‘Open Local to continue’, Lightning opens, but still not logged in.

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • Windows 10 Enterprise
  • Attach the Local Log. See this Help Doc for instructions on how to do so:
    -local-lightning.log (5.2 KB)

Problems were fixed with update v6.5.2+6204. Login in Lightning and Live Link is working. :slightly_smiling_face:
