Can't upload a template to my Wordpress site

Hi, I’m trying to upload an Envato template to my Wordpress but it isn’t working.
I downloaded the template kit import plugin and follow every instruction but it keeps showing the following error:

SyntaxError: The string did not match the expected pattern…

I talk abut it with the Envato team, but they said that since the site is being Build on local they can’t provide detailed support for local setups due to the variance introduced by your network, operating system and PHP configuration.

Hope you can help me with this issue!

Have you tried looking at this Troubleshooting guide?

Do you have any other plugins activated on your site that could be causing issues?

Have you tried uploading this template to a clean installation of WordPress through Local?

I would try running through some of those troubleshooting steps in that article.

Have you ever been able to use this Envato template elsewhere?
