Errormessage Uh-oh! Unable to provision site

I Installed Local on a brandnew Macbook Pro M4. After going through the steps to create a new site I get the “Uh-oh! Unable to provision site” error. looked on the Support forums but dis not find a solution. Tried different settings Apache/NGinx, mySQL versions to no avail. Tried uninstalling Local and re-installing it.

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Uh-Oh, found it. Rosetta was not installed. Did that and it works now.

(would be nice if I was informed of that beforehand, would have saved me some time)

Anyways, case closed.

Glad you were able to get things working here @Eagerbob! The good news is that we are very close to having a Local release ready that supports Apple Silicon natively and no longer requires the Rosetta dependency
