Export localwp site to remote Wordpress (not Flywheel or WP Engine)

Hello

Just starting out witth localwp! When I am ready to export the localwp site to my wordpress (which is not WP Engine), as described here

Then: Do I replace the wp-content on my server/ftp t with the exported wp-content? My remote server on the web is a default installation of wordpress, but have added no content to it.

Or: Do I use a plugin to import the exported wp-content into my remote server?

Any guidance is appreciated!

Are you utilizing a WordPress host or is this your own server? If you’re using a host they might have support or documentation on migration practices to help out.

If you’re using a plugin like WP Migrate, they also have some documentation like this that might be helpful:

Yes, had a word with my host now. Will check out WP Migrate as well when time comes!
