Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

If you just need to export your website from another host, you can use a free plugin like WP Migrate Lite to create a full site export. You don’t have to be a customer of WP Engine or Flywheel in order to use Local. You can import WordPress sites into the Local app from anywhere and export or migrate them anywhere as well.
