Failed loading Zend extension

Hello everybody,

It’s my first post.

I created a local website, it worked well, and now it’s impossible to start the website and connect the admin page. I receive this message :

Warning: Failed loading Zend extension ‘php_opcache.dll’ (tried: C:\php\ext\php_opcache.dll (Le module spécifié est introuvable.) C:\php\ext\php_opcache.dll)

I use the last version of Local WP, Windows 11.

Any ideas ?

Thank you very much

Hi @MisterAthman! Are you able to create a new, blank site in Local or does it give you the same error?

Hello @Nick-B !

Thank you for your answer

I can create a new site, it works well.

If you can do that, then you could try reimporting the site getting the errors. The steps would look like this:

  • Locate the site files on your machine, and save a copy of them to your desktop. If you click Go to Site Folder under your site name it should take you right to where they are located.
  • Once you have those copied, completely delete the site from Local
  • Restart Local/your machine
  • Reimport the site back into Local. You can refer here on how to Restore from only Local site files
