Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class "ET_Core_Cache_Directory" not found in C:\Users\

Hello everyone

I’m not a developer, and I don’t understand why I can’t access my site anymore. All of a sudden… I get the following message:

Fatal error : Uncaught Error: Class “ET_Core_Cache_Directory” not found in C:\Users\manuw\Local Sites\the-lounge\app\public\wp-content\themes\Divi\core\components\init.php:9 Stack trace: #0 C:\Users\manuw\Local Sites\the-lounge\app\public\wp-includes\class-wp-hook.php(324): et_core_init(‘’) #1 C:\Users\manuw\Local Sites\the-lounge\app\public\wp-includes\class-wp-hook.php(348): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #2 C:\Users\manuw\Local Sites\the-lounge\app\public\wp-includes\plugin.php(517): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #3 C:\Users\manuw\Local Sites\the-lounge\app\public\wp-settings.php(621): do_action(‘after_setup_the…’) #4 C:\Users\manuw\Local Sites\the-lounge\app\public\wp-config.php(102): require_once(‘C:\Users\manuw\…’) #5 C:\Users\manuw\Local Sites\the-lounge\app\public\wp-load.php(50): require_once(‘C:\Users\manuw\…’) #6 C:\Users\manuw\Local Sites\the-lounge\app\public\wp-admin\admin.php(34): require_once(‘C:\Users\manuw\…’) #7 C:\Users\manuw\Local Sites\the-lounge\app\public\wp-admin\index.php(10): require_once(‘C:\Users\manuw\…’) #8 {main} thrown in C:\Users\manuw\Local Sites\the-lounge\app\public\wp-content\themes\Divi\core\components\init.php on line *9

Can you help me? Because I’m completely lost …

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @Emy

I found this walk through that might help point you in the right direction here:

If you have a Divi account you should be able to also contact their support and look through their documentation below for further assistance if needed:
