Firefox & SSL problem still not fixed

As mentioned multiple times in this community, the generated ceritifcates are not working in Firefox but any other browser. Only adding an exception is allowing to see the site.

In 2024, you confirmed the bug and said it would be fixed.
As a new user, the experience is frustrating since other tools work out of the box (e.g. ServBay).

So is there any ETA when this will finally work in Firefox?
Its my primary browser to develop.

Hey @despecial! I’ve shared this with our team. They have a ticket to improve Local’s SSL handling in general soon, and they are planning to do some further testing with Firefox when that happens as well. We will keep you posted! Thank you for your patience and communication with us on this.

Hej Nick, thanks for getting back but it feels like marketing bla bla
The same was said in April 2024(!) and nothing happened

I have logged this as a bug for the Local team to address in a future update.

So, not really convincing - will uninstall and use more reliable software until I see a fix in the release notes.

We definitely understand having to do what is best for you and your workflows @despecial! Thanks for checking back in with us on this. As mentioned, I did ping the Local Dev Team on this to give it a bump. We’ll share any updates in this area should you want to come back to Local in the future. :green_heart:
