SSL on Firefox

Hello. Regarding SSL, Firefox is showing an error with SSL (https://). Other browsers work fine. How can I secure SSL in Firefox? Local version: Latest version Windows 11

Hi @shige! This is a known bug we have in our backlog as this time:

Apologies @shige that bug I linked is MacOS specific and you’re on Windows 11 I see.

You might be running into another bug, or conflict. Here are some troubleshooting steps from another Windows user recently that you might try:

Hello. Thank you for your reply.
Until last year, there were no problems with “https,” but recently, SSL doesn’t work in Firefox.
I’ve set it to “https” in the WordPress settings, but it still doesn’t work.
It works fine with SSL protection in Edge.
How can I configure Firefox to enable SSL protection?

Did you recently update your Local version, OS version or Firefox @shige? It seems mostly Windows users are still able to keep things working on Firefox although there might be a bug with the WP-Admin specifically. Are you talking about that or when you visit the front end of the site?

Hello. Thank you for your reply.
The Windows 11 update was yesterday.
The Firefox version was updated yesterday to 150.0.3. After installing the local version yesterday, I added the site.
Then, when I open it in Firefox using Wp-Admin, “The connection is not secure” is displayed in the URL bar.
Edge and Chrome display it securely without any problems.
Is this a Firefox setting issue? Is it related to any exception or permission settings?

I’m doing some testing on this @shige, and I can replicate Firefox errors on my Windows 11 VM. So it might be that the bug is present in multiple OSes now. I’ll check with our developer team on that. If you’d like to utilize HTTPS, for now you’ll have to fall back to Edge or another browser option.
