Just updated to 5.9.9+5246 and now I can’t get any of my sites to load to Admin. I can see a few of them in my browser, but they won’t load so I can work on them.
I’m using Safari on my iMac using Big Sur v11.2.2
Error states:
Safari Can’t Connect to the Server
Safari can’t open the page “localhost/wp-admin/?cache-buster=112” because Safari can’t connect to the server “localhost”.
Anyone else having this problem???
Hope this doesn’t happen every time Local by Flywheel does an update!
I am having the exact same problem as reported two days ago.
I am using Mac High Sierra 10.13.6 and local version 5.9.9-5246
I just spent 1 hour with Apple Senior tech and triple checked all of the systems preference settings, dumping Safari cashe and history as well as checking Firefox and Chrome with no resolution.
I have up graded to 5.9.9 on a windows 7 64 bit machine and can’t open / load to admin. I can open the sites just not wp-admin same page heading 'localhost/wp-admin/?cache-buster=xxx"
The same here. After updating to the latest version, most of my instances stopped working. This seems clearly related to the latest version since the issues shared by others, and mine is totally the same. See how the port is removed from the URL when trying to access wp-admin.
I hope you will fix this out asap (or at least to give some related feedback), it’s really frustrating since we cannot access our installations.
I’m also having this problem … extremely frustrating when you are in the middle of a project with tight deadline. I can’t get into the admin and all links in my nav aren’t working anymore. Trying to roll back to previous app version now … hope this will help.
I installed the update and the program wouldn’t open at all. Uninstalled then re installed and seems to be working. Hangs for a while before logging into admin though… 5.10.0+5257 windows 7 64 bit
Cannot see the update in my Local on macOS Mojave. It shows 5.9.9 and it does not fetch any new update while checking for the new updates option. Anybody else with the same problem?
^^^ EDIT ^^^
Made the latest version installed by hand and the issues got fixed out.
Many thanks for such a fast response from your side!
