Frozen on Checking Remote table prefix when uploading to WPEngine

Issue Summary

When trying to upload site to WPEngine it gets stuck on Checking remote table prefixes. I tried updating Local and that did not help.

System Details

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

I’m seeing a few lines in the Local log that look like:

As a start, can you try re-connecting Local to WPE. To do this, within Local, disconnect from WPE by navigating to “Connect > My Hosts > Log out”.

Then follow the steps to re-connect Local to WP Engine:
