Local is stuck on "checking remote table prefix" on push to WPEngine

Issue Summary

The Local app is stuck on the “checking remote table prefix” on a particular site.

Troubleshooting Questions

on one local site, i can pull down production and staging sites but not push to staging.

  • Which version of Local is being used?

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?
    MacOS 12.6

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

this seemed to do the trick, are API Keys valid for only a certain amount of time? :thinking:

Hey @eramos! I’m not sure there is an exact limit but we do see this come up often for WPE users as it tends to be fairly finicky. Rest assured we are digging into making this less of a headache in the near future but if you come across this again that document above will be your go-to!
