Hi there. Just a question, please: Is it possible to get a live site into LocalWP, work on it locally und get it back to the webhost and go from there for future changes? So that I work on the local version and push the changes to the server?

Hi @ESMedia24! That’s exactly the type of thing Local is here to do 
As far as getting your changes back to your host, that workflow might differ depending on what you’re changing and where your site is hosted. You should be able to use just about any migration plugin for simplicity, but there are also free workarounds such as SFTP, SSH, or WordPress native tools, depending on what you need to update.
If you host with WP Engine, then Local has a native Local Connect feature that syncs your site back and forth as well.
