Hi everyone, I accidentally deleted my local WordPress site, but I found the site folder in my file manager. I compressed the folder into a zip file and tried uploading it back, but after installation, it immediately deletes itself. Has anyone experienced this before or know how I can successfully restore my site?
My guess is that right before it finishes up it’s running into a compatibility error. As an alternative, I’d next try spinning up a new, blank Local site and manually importing the contents of the zip in. Instructions here:
