I do not have authorization to customize theme

What issue or error are you experiencing?

I was updating my website this morning… and i got an error message saying i am unable to customize theme. i paid for theme and put in license number last night. unfortunately I only have my first backedup before all the customization

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

It’s tricky to know what exactly is going on. Premium themes can sometimes be written in a way that make them hard to register within an offline development environment like Local.

I’d recommend reaching out to the theme developer where you purchased the theme and ask about what things you can do to register your license on a development environment like Local.
