On local the server settings are:

web server: apache
php: 7.3.33

This produces the errors shown above in wp-admin

On my 2nd attempt I tried to just use a zip of folder containing wp-content and sql file. Sql file produced using plugin WP Database Plugin.
But this also didn’t work, said there was an issue with the sql file.
I don’t have access to ftp for the website.

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @dracoseal - welcome to the Local Community!

Looks like that issue is with the WP Mail SMPT Pro plugin.

Can you try disabling that plugin to see if that resolves the warning?

If it does, I’m thinking perhaps there’s a misconfiguration happening with that plugin as a result of using the duplicator plugin.

Let’s start there!

Hello Sam,

Thank you for responding.
In the local site’s wp-admin I deactivated the WP Mail SMPT Pro pluin.
The error messages on wp-admin are now gone!
However when I press “open site” my local site just goes to a page that says “Coming Soon”; I do not see my website on there.
The original site I used duplicator on is still up and running.

Thanks!

Hello @dracoseal -

Glad to know that warning message is gone! :tada:

Do you have a coming soon plugin enabled on that site? Are you able to access your site’s admin dashboard via the wp-admin button?

Sam :woman_technologist:t3:

Hi Sam,

There was a Coming Soon plugin but that was deactivated and I still see the “Coming Soon!” message on wordpress.

The plugins installed are activated are:

  • Advanced Custom Fields
  • Advanced WordPress backrounds
  • Classic Editor
  • Duplicator
  • Email address encoder
  • Flipbox
  • Heartbeat Control by WP Rocket
  • Redireciton
  • Responsive lightbox & Gallery
  • Search Exclude
  • ShiveNav Pro
  • Strong Testimonials
  • Updraftplus
  • Wordfence security
  • WP-CLient
  • WP-Client: Estimates/Invoices
  • Yoast SEO

Would any of these be causing the issue?
I am able to access the local site using the wp-admin button.
Thanks!

Hi @dracoseal - thank you so much for that extra info.

None of those plugins stand out to me as adding a “Coming soon” message to your site.

Can you screenshot the message you’re seeing? That would be helpful!

We’ll get this solved, together!

Hi Sam,

It looks like this:

I went through all of the theme php files and there is no mention of “Coming Soon!” anywhere there.
