Intelliwidget Plugin not Working

I am new to Local by Flywheel. I migrated a live site to Local successfully, except for a few glitches. One of those is that the Intelliwidget plugin doesn’t work properly. Anyone have a solution?

Alan,

Sorry for the trouble!

Can you describe what’s happening and/or provide screenshots? Also, have you contacted the developer of the Intelliwidget plugin?

Thanks for the rapid reply. First, Intelliwidget is installed and active. It shows up in the available widgets on the Appearance > Widgets page in Admin. However, none of my Intelliwidgets that I have active are there. When I try to create one in Local, it doesn’t “complete”. To demonstrate, here are 4 screen shots:

Local 1: Shows the Widgets page with no Intelliwidgets there
Live 1: Shows what that page looks like in the live site
Local 2: I tried to create an Intelliwidget under Primary but is “stalls” with a spinning dot in the gray round circle.
Live 2: Shows that same Intelliwidget expanded on the live site

As an experiment, I tried to add a couple of other widgets to my Primary sidebar with a similar result - the spinning “dot” in the gray circle (Save never becomes Saved). I tried the Navigation Menu and the Image widgets. I also tried to add the Recent Posts widget to the Homepage with the same result.

These problems seem to have their root in having used BackupBuddy to create the download that I used to load into Local. Other problems also appeared, too. While struggling with this, I decided to use Duplicator to create the download, and virtually all those problems vanished in the uploaded version to Local. So, I am dropping this issue as moot although it likely will continue to be a problem for those who use BackupBuddy.
