Issue Summary

Kaspersky Total Security will not allow to Setup websites( Stuck in Adding WordPress… )

Troubleshooting Questions

I am able to replicate this issue on my Virtual Machine.

it appears to be tied to Windows Security as the Batch file from LocalWP is not whitelisted or locking up localhost windows dns file. Please fix. ServerPress is another WordPress development environment and it Does Not have this issues. I would Prefer using LocalWP as it’s faster but it’s too problematic.

  • It will not allow me to create sites.

Install Kaspersky Total Security, do trial is free and does not require registration
