Local App extremely slow since last update

Bug Summary

Since the last update the local app is extremely slow. It takes up to 5minutes to open a new page

Having the same issue. Taking a very long time from opening till it’s stable. Clicking is slow and or unresponsive. Version of Local is 9.2.4+6788

Hi @egrissom

We’ve been tracking this issue in a more recent thread here:

Basically a lot of MacOS users have discovered they were using the Intel version of the Local app instead of the Apple Silicon one. So you’ll want to check and make sure what type of device you’re on and what Local version you have installed.

Thanks, I manually updated it and the speed improved significantly. Do have some issues with Mailpit, but hoping a reboot will resolve.
