LocalWP v 9.25 - super slow UI after upgrading

What issue or error are you experiencing?

Just upgraded to Version 9.2.5+6810. Experiencing extreme slowness. The whole LocalWP UI is slow, just clicking on different websites / starting, stopping - very unresponsive. MacOS Sequoia 15.5


What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Are you on Apple Silicon hardware? If so, you might have the Intel version of Local instead of the Apple Silicon one — we’ve had other reports of slow behaviour in that scenario.

You can check the Local app like this:

  1. Command-click the Local app icon in your dock (or otherwise browse to it in the Applications folder).

  2. Right-click the app icon and choose “Get Info”.

  3. You should see “Apple silicon” next to “kind”. If you do not see “Apple silicon”, download the latest Apple Silicon version from the Local releases page: https://localwp.com/releases/
