Replication

System Details

  • Latest version od Local 2-09-2023

  • OS Windows 11 Home. 1 Blue screen so far.

local-lightning-verbose.log (386.6 KB)

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Same issue here. Staging site forwards to my local machine (.local)

It’s not just the TLD though. Domains are totally different.

@ardent and @cross2023

Your hosted site and your Local site should have separate domains, however, if you’ve been working between the two there might be some mixed content that you’ll have to manually fix up with search and replaces or there is caching stored in a plugin, theme, server that needs to be cleared out.

I was able to get to my admin panel by going to .staging.mysites.io/wp-admin/.

I was able to get it resolved by flushing my DNS Cache and removing all the Local entries in my HOSTS file. Now, I have no clue why unrelated hosts entries was conflicting, but apparently it was.

I’m not confident that this will be the fix for others, but that solved it for me.
