Local UI extremely slow after update

Hi @jasontheadams! We had a thread about this recently and the TLDR is that you might be running the Intel version of Local instead of the Apple Silicon.

So, anyone who has encountered this problem on a Mac with M (apple silicon). The solution is to manually update the program to the Apple Silicon version (Releases - Local).
