Recently upgraded my local to version 5.3.2+2248. Since then i cannot get access to some of my sites. When clicking on them, i just get a blank screen and i have to close down the app and reopen it to get access to any options.
I have already opened a support ticket for this and they suggested i reinstall the app, overwriting the current installation. I did this, and ran the installer as admin. But the problem persists and i have no clue how to fix it.
Seriously get no support on this massive error thats stopping me from building a website for a client? I’m about this far from binning Local off and using some other software. The support is atrocious. I shouldn’t be having this error full stop and now i don’t even get any help fixing it. What a joke.
Thanks for your patience with this! This may be due to a bug in Local where a site that was connected to Flywheel’s servers, but is no longer able to connect doesn’t show up. This connection might not be available for reasons like:
You are no longer a collaborator on the site on the server
The remote site no longer exists, either it was deleted, or the demo period lapsed
I think you should be able to regain access to these sites by restoring the site to a new one within Local by following the steps outlined in the “Restoring From Only Local Site files” section of this help doc:
