LocalWP site breaks when exporting using Simply Static plugin

Hello, I am a noob-ie at making websites but still wanted to opt a free simple one so I followed a video I saw on Youtube. I installed and use Local Wordpress, the built-in Elementor for page-building, Blocksy for theme and Simply Static for exporting (via .zip file). However everytime I export, it is broken and not into place.

The video I was trying to follow is this one:

It’s been days since I browsed every possible video on Youtube that I can find but it seems they have no problem with their exports. I went further to changing the template styles in editor itself (went to default, elementor canvas, elementor full-width, theme but still did not fix the problem). I also clicked the trust in my SSL from LocalWP and changed my Wordpress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) to https. For reference, this is how the website’s been looking:

  • 1st picture is the site I designed (works properly), that I wanted to be exported as is.

  • 2nd picture is the site Simply Static exported (the .zip file’s index html document)

  • 3rd picture is the site uploaded to CloudFlare Pages

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi, @keykbayts! Thanks for sharing these screenshots.

It looks like your site’s stylesheets are missing or referenced incorrectly. This is likely not specific to Local, but Simply Static. The plugin has some debug docs here for these scenarios:
